Flurry Heart: The Name of Disaster Chapter 1
The sun shone on the Crystal Empire giving off it's shining beauty. The rays of the sun shined into a big room bathing the back of the heir to the crystal throne, Princess Flurry Heart. The young princess awoke to the sun's morning light, and yawned with a smile.
She looked at her calender.
"Only a month before the Crystal Fair!" Flurry said flapping her wings with excitement. "I just can't wait! Well, time to start the day".
The young Princess got up, walked over to her dresser and grabbed her mane brush. She stood in front of a mirror and brushed her mane making it look neat. She then grabbed a royal neckless given to her by her parents as a symbol of her inheiritence. She opened the door and walked off happily. As Flurry walked down the palace, she could here ponies talking. While she walked by, the ponies looked weary of her. Flurry wondered why they were looking at her like that.
"I hope she doesn't cause another problem again like when she was born", One pony whispered.
Shenanilands - PreventionIt was two days after Tim Bishop's speech had been revealed, and there were two prototypes missing. The security's been heavily reinforced after the events, and the people in the facility have been strangely quiet. This surely was no coincidence, but for young Lyon, who was still oblivious to the situation, tried to keep a low profile despite the accident that happened when he was being injected the prototype-level shadow talent.
Lyon was minding his own business, trying to focus in his swordplay routine, when that same corporate man that gave the news to Elena entered the room, and greeted Lyon, dissimulating his intentions. This time, he tried to approach peacefully, rather than being hostile after what happened with the other prototypes.
"Hello Lyon." He says, acting normally.
"Um, hello there." Lyon responds, surprised at someone talking to him after all of the silence.
"I hope you're feeling better after the irradiating accident."
"Thank you, I've been feeling better n
Shenanilands - What lies belowLyon had escaped from the room, but didn't exit the facility yet. He was determined to find out why they were keeping them as a secret. Thanks to his shadow talent, he had escaped the room by using the shadows that resulted out of the lights going out. He came out of a dark corner of another room, and found out that the whole place was in alert, looking for him. He was hearing a lot of footsteps on the steel floor, as there were a lot of guards with weapons running about the place. He started moving room after room, hiding in the shadows, which effectively made him invisible thanks to his talent. He then entered a higher floor where the research was being made for the talents. And there were a few scientists in white coats talking.
"Why did the place go in high alert?" One of them asked.
"The shadow talent escaped his confinement." The other one confirmed
"But how is that possible? He was completely deprived of his talent."
"That's the thing, something that we didn't forese
Dry StormGrey, windy, cold. The Lion's Teeth Fields are very much appreciated under other conditions, but at this moment, it was one of the worst places to be.
Mandew was looking into the sky, and at the red-tinted clouds which occupied it.
"You know the procedure. Avoid standing up unless absolutely necessary.", he said.
Nancy was standing behind him "Are sure this is a good idea?!"
"Stand back. Now!", Mandew said, holding his hand out into the air.
Nancy was blown back as a red streak of lighting struck Mandew's hand. The current could be seen passing through him, from head to toe, channelled into the ground below him.
Linidia and Riley caught Nancy before she hit the ground. More fear than damage; in fact, she was just caught by surprise.
Riley explained, "You have to let Mandew do this. He's protecting us from the lightning."
Nancy couldn't believe it. "Protecting us? How?"
Riley, Nancy and Linidia ducked down quickly.
